Universitatea women’s basketball team had a wrong start in the new season, losing in the first round against SCM Craiova, 49-81 final score (12-26, 11-9, 12-25, 14-21).
For our team scored: Ferenczi 21, Bocskai 10, N. Pop 5, Al Shaar 4, Fodor 4, Barbu 3, A. Pop 2. Also played: Meszaros, Coldea, Purcari. Our team had 27 rebounds, while Craiova had 37. The guest team led in assists, 11-8.
Next, our team will visit CSM Oradea on October 8.
