Universitatea's women's basketball team lost their match away to CS Nova Vita in Tărgu Mureș on Wednesday by a score of 69-86. Even though "U" held the lead after two quarters, the home side took control of the match with a strong showing in the 3rd quarter. The girls fought back in the 4th, but it was too little, too late in the end.
The match left the "students" in 11th place and 5 points away from a play-off spot.
Today, Florin Covaciu's players will take on SCM Craiova at home in the Horia Demian Sports Hall at 17:00.
