Defeats for both basketball teams

Universitatea Cluj's men's basketball team, coached by Flavius Lăpuște, lost against Gaz Metan Mediaș by as score of 103-81. Even though "U" won the 4th quarter (24-23) and tied the 2nd (26-26), Gaz Metan's first quarter lead (26-12) proved to be too much to overcome.
Universitatea Cluj's women's basketball team also lost as they were defeated by 6th place BCM Danzio Timişoara on Saturday by a score of 91-49.
As a result, the women's basketball team remained in 11th place with a total of 30 points. Up next, they will play away to ICIM Arad on Friday, February 27th at 18:00.
