Victory in the 2nd to last round

Universitatea Cluj's Women's Basketball team beat BCM Danzio Timișoara at home in the 25th round of the National League.

 
Even though they led after the 1st quarter (15-10), the girls found themselves down by one at the half after the away side dominated the 2nd quarter (20-14). The same thing happen in the second half: the home side dominated the 3rd quarter (23-10) while the away side won the 4th (10-11). "U" came out on top in the end after building a comfortable lead in the 3rd quarter.
 
"U"'s top scorer was Flavia Fenenczi with 27 points and 5 rebonds while BCM Danzio Timișoara's top scorer was Biljana Pesovic with 17 points and 6 rebounds.
 
Following the game, "U" stayed in 12th place in the table with 30 points while BCM Danzio stayed in 8th with 36 points.
 
Universitatea Cluj's last game of the season will be next weekend away to CSU Alba Iulia.
