"U"'s women's basketball team remains winless in 2014

 Universitatea Cluj-Napoca's women's basketball team lost at home by a score of 48-89 to ACS Sepsi SIC Sfănt Gheorghe in the 17th round of the National League.

 
"U" was dominated for the entire game with the away team going into the locker room with a 21 point lead at the half (14-28, 17-24; 31-52 at the half). Things didn't get better for the home in the 2nd half as Sfăntu Gheorghe's players managed to increase their lead by 20 points (7-24, 10-13).
 
"U"'s best player was Maria Pașcalău, with 10 points and 5 rebounds, while the best player from Sfăntu Gheorghe was Jasmine Watson with 21 points and 7 rebounds.
 
Following this game, CS Universitatea Cluj-Napoca, with 19 points, remained in 12th place in the Women's Basketball National League standings without a win this year while ACS Sepsi SIC Sfăntu Gheorghe stayed in 4th place with 28 points.
 
"U" Cluj will play their next game next weekend away from home against CS Nova Vita Târgu Mureș.
