"U" lost to the team in last place.

 CS Universitatea Cluj-Napoca's Women's Basketball team continued their winless run in 2014. Florin Covaciu's players lost today away from home to  CS Nova Vita Târgu Mureș by a score of 70-57 in the 19th round of the Women's Basketball National League.

 
The home team went into the locker room with a 10 point lead at halftime (23-16, 15-12) that the girls were able to cut into in the 3rd quarter (10-16). The game was decided in the 4th quarter where the team from Tărgu Mureș outscored "U" by a score of 22-13.
 
"U"'s top scorers were Flavia Ferenczi, with 12 points and 9 rebounds, while Danielle Walker from CS Nova Vita played well, scoring 15 points and getting 5 rebounds.
 
Following this result, CS U Cluj remains in 12th place with 20 points while their opponents stay in last with 18 points.
 
"U"'s next game is next weekend at home to SCM CSȘ U Craiova.
