The Women's Basketball Team has yet to win in 2014

CS "U" Cluj's Women's Baskeball team lost at home today against CST BC Alexandria by a score of 73-85 in the 21st round of the National League.

 
Even though they managed to hold the lead after the 1st quarter (19-18), the girls lost the next two quarters (15-27, 18-22); allowing the away team to build a large lead. Even though the girls won the 4th quarter, they weren't able to recover the deficit. The coach commented that the game was lost because of individual errors.
 
"U"'s top scorer was Flavia Ferenczi, with 20 points and 5 rebounds while Alexandria's top scorer was Tricia Pincipe, with 23 points and 5 rebounds.
 
Following the result, CS "U" Cluj remained in 12 place in the Women's Basketball National League with 24 points while their opponents reached 5th place with 33 points. 
 
Next weekend, "U" Cluj will play at home against CSM Satu Mare.
