FC Universitatea Cluj is preparing for next season as they welcomed Fofana, Gabi Jula, Mateus Alves and Paulinho to the team only two days after the team started training again. 

Diaranke Fofana of France and Brazilian Mateus Alves are both central defenders while Paulinho, a Brazilian as well, is a midfielder and Emil Gabriel Jula, who returned to "U" after 8 seasons, is a striker.

Jula commented about his return to the club: "I've always wanted to come back to play for "U". I'm happy that I have the chance to do so; it didn't take me long to decide to come back. It's a huge joy for me to play in front of "U"'s fans again, whom I've come to apreciate. I can hardly wait for the season to start. I'm sure that we'll have a good season."

Universitatea Cluj also strengthened their coaching staff as they hired Sorin Colceag as their assistent coach.

UPDATE: Universitatea Cluj's official site announced that central midfielder Florin Achim has been transferred from Săgeata Năvodari.
