Universitatea Cluj's Women's Basketball team lost their last game of the regular season in the National League away to CSU Alba Iulia by a score of 80-32.
Florin Covaciu's players lost the game from the 1st quarter when the home team took a 23 point lead into the 2nd quarter (28-5), where they extended their lead by 3 points (14-11). The second half saw much of the same as "U" only managed to put up 16 points while CSU Alba Iulia extended their lead even more (19-5, 19-11).
"U"'s top scorer was Flavia Ferenczi with 12 points and 2 rebounds while CSU Alba Iulia's top scorer was Ildiko Nagy while 22 points and 11 rebounds.
Because they lost, "U" remained in 12th place in the standings with 31 points while CSU Alba Iulia stayed in 2nd with 50 points and will go to the play-offs.
