In round V of the women's basketball regular season, Universitatea Cluj defeated Rapid Bucureşti, score 71-65, by quarters 12-21, 22-18, 23-12, 14-14.
Scorers: Ferenczi 23, Fodor 12, A. Pop 11, N. Pop 10, Pricop 9, Barbu 4, Al Shaar 2. Also played Meszaros and Bocskai.
From Rapid's tem we noticed Burlakova 22, Perţa12, Nicolaescu 9 points.
Our team led in assists by 20-14, while Rapid led in rebounds by 44-35.
In the next round, our team will play on the road against SEPSI Sfântu Gheorghe, on October 29.
