"U" makes their official debut in 2014 against Steaua

 Universitatea is preparing for their first official match in 2014. The students will go away to București, where they will face Steaua on Tuesday night in a rescheduled game from the 14th round of Liga 1.

 
Even though they haven't beat Steaua since 2007, when they won in the old Moina stadium (Jovanovic, Goga / Nicoliță), Mihai Teja's players hope to get a positive result in Ghencea as they need points to get out of the relegation zone in the table, which would take them out of Liga 1 next season. "U"'s coach is counting on Steaua's weak links to slip up, but commented that "80% of their team plays complete football."
 
The game between "U" Cluj and Steaua is on Tuesday in the Ghencea Stadium fom 18:15 and will be broadcast live on DigiSport 1 and, if Manu is up for it, in livetext format by ucluj.ro.
