At the zonal tournament from Alba Iulia, Universitatea’s juniors B won Friday their game against Pandurii Târgu Jiu, score 2-0, 0-0 at halftime.
Both our goals were scored by Sabău. Eventhough we played only 10 minutes, it was enough for him to score both of the goals in the extra time.
Our players were: Niczuly - Molnar, R. Crişan, Dulap, Mutu - Greu (46 Vescan), Cîndea (C), Keresztes (75 Mic), Prescură - Zdroba (57 Hâmpea), Hîmpea (80 Sabău).
In the other game of the tournament, FC Timişoara defeated the home team, Unirea Alba Iulia, score 2-0.
