Suprising move in Universitatea's staff

The start of September has been very eventful for Universitatea as Mihai Teja has announced, to the surprise of most fans, that he will leave the team. His departure marks the 6th managerial change in this season of Liga 1.
The young manager coached "U" for 28 matches in Liga 1 (22 matches last season, 6 this season) as well as a match in the League Cup that saw "U" beat Petrolul Ploiești 1-0. His record consists of 13 wins (9 at home, 4 away), 5 draws (1 at home, 4 away), and 10 defeats (4 at home, 6 away).
This season, Teja led "U" to 2 wins, 2 draws, and 2 losses, which total 8 points and put "U" in 9th place.
George Ogăraru and Dutch assistant coach Alfons Groenendijk will replace Teja.
