Several player rankings based on various individual stats from the first half of the 2014-2015 Liga 1 have been released, and Universitatea Cluj has 4 players in the top 20 in different categories: Emil Ninu, Nicoale Mușat, Nunu Viveiros and Justin Mengolo.

Emil Ducu Ninu finds himself in the most rankings of any Universitatea player. "U"'s former number 29 is in 18th place for number of completed passes as well as in number of aerial duels. In these categories, the center back who recently sealed a transfer to Levski Sofia attempted 827 passes and completed 672 of them (good for an 81% completion rate) as well as 115 aerial duels (of which he won 67). Also, Ninu is 9th in the ranking for most interceptions as he intercepted 92 passes, 5 of which were in the attacking half.

Justin Junior Mengolo is in the Top 20 for two categories: attacking duels (in 16th) and fouls committed (in 13th). The Red Caps' young striker engaged in 240 attacking duels and won 84 of them and committed 31 fouls.

Nicoale Constantin Mușat is in 13th in terms of passes in the box. Universitatea's former defender attempted 85 passes in the box and completed 41 of them. 

Nuno Felipe Vasconcelos Viveiros is Universitatea's most fouled player as he was fouled 38 times. In the ranking for this category, he's in 8th place.
