Men's Handball team in 6th place

At the end of the first half of the season, "U"'s men's handball team are 6th, in the middle of the table, in the Men's handball first division. With 5 wins, 3 losses and 3 draws, the students scored 363 goals while conceding 324.

 
The team had a galloping start to the season with wins against CSS Sighişoara and Naţional Sighişoara (with scores of 57-31 and 34-27, respectively). Following the two wins, "U" got a draw against Fagăraș (23-23) and lost against the team in first, CSM Oradea, with a score of 26-32.
 
A run of 2 wins (37-34 vs Craiova and 33-29 against CS Extrem Baia Mare) was ended away to Satu Mare, where they won 
38-30. The following home game saw the students step up as they beat HC Sibiu with a score of 41-24. The 9th round saw
ACS Academia handbal Baia Mare beat "U" by a score of 30-26. After that, "U" got two draws, one against HC Voinţa SAVIN DUE Sebeş (26-26) and another against  HC Argeş Piteşti (30-26).
 
Up next, "U" faces CSS Sighișoara on the road on January 26th.
