Universitatea Cluj's men's handball team won two games, played on Monday and Tuesday in the A Division. The first match was a very even one and was won away from home against Sighișoara by a score of 26-25.

"U"'s scorers were Vlad Vlăduţ with 12 goals, Mihai Mioriu with 5 goals, Cristi Suciu and Barb Raul with 3 goals each, Savu Tiberiu with 2 goals, and Alexandru Epure with 1 goal.

The second match was won at home aginst ACS Potaissa Turda II by a score of 43-35.

"U"'s scorers were Alexandru Pop with 10 goals, Vlad Vlăduţ with 8 goals, Cristi Suciu with 6 goals, Barb Raul with 5 goals, Draia Alexandru with 4 goals, Marian Zoicaş and Cosmin Ciuta with 3 goals each, and Iova Rareş and Paul Citiu with 2 goals each.

The men's handball team won't play another official match until the beginning of May. During their break, the team will prepare intensely for their encounter with leaders CS HC Adrian Petrea Resita.
