Juniors B from Universitatea, trained by Calin Salageanu and Mugurel Dan , have won their third match from the Zonal Tourney from Alba Iulia, 1-0 against home team Unirea, our goal being scored by Crisan.
"U" played with: Simon - Inovan (Sabau 70'), Mutu, R. Crisan, Prescura - Cindea, Mic (Molnar 54'), Keresztes, Vescan, Himpea - Scanteie (Zdroba 54').In the other game, FC Timisoara defeated 3-2 Pandurii Tg. Jiu.
Our team finishes on the first place with maimum points, 12, followed by Timisoara, 8pts, Pandurii 2pts, Alba Iulia 1pt.
The semi-final will be played against Viitorul Constanta, 25th May, at Buftea. In the other fixture of the semi-finals, Liberty
Salonta will play Ceahlaul Piatra-Neamt. Gheorghe Hagi's team eliminated Dinamo Bucuresti after a penalty shoot-out.
The final will be held on the 27th of May, at Buftea.
