Heavy defeat away to Constanta

Universitatea Cluj, coached by Bogdan Cantor and Ioan Teodorescu, suffered their heaviest defeat this season, losing to Farul Constanța by a score of 69-17.
Farul started the game out very well as they took a 28-0 lead in the first 12 minutes after scoring four tries. Farul didn't stop there as they extended their lead to a commanding 41-0 after 40 minutes of play.
"U" managed to score three tries in the 2nd half through Murgoci (the captain), Boar and Petucher with Ionuț Mazăre converting only one of the extra point tries.
The loss left "U" Cluj in 6th place in the table, tied with Dinamo on points but with 10 more points scored and a head to head win, which puts them above Dinamo.
Next round, "U" will face CSM Bucharest at home on Sunday, June 1st at 17:00. The boys are out for revenge as the first game between the two ended in a win for CSM Bucharest.
