Universitatea Cluj's rugby team won their home match against CSM Bucovina Suceava in the Moldovan Group of the Romanian Cup by a score of 82-3.
Even though the away side appeared to be keeping up with "U" at the start of the match, the halftime score told a different story as the "students" went into the break with 33-3 lead. "U" shut out the away side in the second half, scored 7 tries and converted every point after attempt through Dimofte, Paraschiv, Rotar, A. Mazăre, Ignea, Nistor and Liemoni Moala.

After advancing from the Moldovan Group in the Romanian Cup, "U" will have a tough match in the quarterfinals against Știința Baia Mare.
