Universitatea Cluj managed an average of 18 attempted dribbles per match (10 of which were successful) in the first half of the season. Compared to other teams, the students find themselves tied with Oțelul Galați (10 dribbles out of 18 attempts) and ahead of Rapid București (10 dribbles out of 19 attempts), Gaz Metan Mediaș (9 dribbles out of 15 attempts), and FC Brașov (8 successful dribbles out of 14 attempts). 

The black and whites also managed an average of 31 attempted tackles per match, of which 18 were successful. These stats put Transylvania's team ahead of Viitorul Constanța (18 successful tackles out of 28 attempts), ASA Tărgu-Mureș (17 successful tackles out of 27 attempts), and FC Brașov (16 successful tackles out of 28 attempts). 

This season, Ogăraru's team was one of the best in the league in terms of intercepted passes per match as they averaged 38 per match, 6 of which were in the attacking half. In this category, "U" finds itself behind only Gaz Metan Mediaș (42 interceptions, 8 in the attacking half), Viitorul Constanța (40 interceptions, 7 in the attacking half), and ASA Tărgu-Mureș (39 interceptions, 6 in the attacking half).

In regards to recoveries per match, Universitatea finds itself in 14th place, with an average of 74 per match (23 of which were in the attacking half). The students find themselves above teams like Astra Giurgiu (73 recoveries; 22 in the attacking half) and Steaua București (71 recoveries; 26 in the attacking half) in this category. 

The "Red Caps" are in midtable in terms of average fouls per match as they committed an average of 16 (8 of which were in their own half). Oțelul Galați committed the most fouls per match with 18 (10 of which were in their own half) while Astra Giurgiu committed the least with 14 (6 in their own half).

Universitatea attempted 7 penalties so far this season and scored 5 of them. Only Viitorul Constanța has more penalties than Ogăraru's team as they attempted 8 and converted 7 of them. ASA Tărgu-Mureș has the fewest penalties in the league as they attempted 2 and failed to convert either of them.
