Good tournament for the women's volleyball team

Universitatea Cluj women's volleyball team took part at the end of last week in the 2011 edition of "Cupa CSM Lugoj" tournament, where they got the silver medals.
"Compared to last week's tournament we saw improvments in both the construction of the games, as well as in the defense. I hope we can maintain this ascending trend which would allow us to win in the first stage of Romania's Cup, when we will, meet the Iasi team", said Dan Garleanu, team coach.

Vojvodina Novi Sad – CSU Tg Mureş 2- 3

CSU Tg Mures – Universitatea Cluj 3-2
CSM Lugoj – Vojvodina Novi Sad 3-1
At the end of the tournament, the following prizes (voted by all coaches) were awarded to the players:
Most promising player: Emilia Atanasevici (Vojvodina Novi Sad)
Best libero: Roxana Nechiti (Universitatea Cluj)
Best hitter: Radostina Chitigoi (CSU Tg Mures)
Best middle: Ionela Canea (CSM Lugoj)
Best setter: Lorena Ciocean (CSU Tg Mures)
Best overall player: Adina Salaoru (CSU Tg Mures).
Our team will play on Saturday and Sunday in Zalau two games against ACS Penilicilina Iasi. The games count for Romania's Cup and will start at 2 pm.
