The first half of the current Liga 1 season saw Universitatea concede 21 goals over a span of 17 matches. During that time, Universitatea used three goalkeepers: Robert Veselovsky, Leonidas Panagopoulos and Vladimir Niculescu.

Veselovsky played for a total of 996 minutes and played every minute in 11 matches. During his time on the field, the Slovakian goalkeeper saw 2 yellow cards and 1 red card (in the 6th minute against Dinamo).
