Five new players on the Rugby Team

 Rugby lovers from Cluj have a reason to be happy: March 29th was announced as the date for the first round of the 2014 Rugby SuperLiga season.

 
There will be 8 teams at the start of the season, one more than last season, due to the growing quality of the competition. Timișoara, the reigning champions, starts as the favorite to win the league, but vice champions Baia Mare and Romanian Cup winners Steaua can't be counted out either.
 
Another reason for Universitatea fans to be happy is that the 2014 Romanian Cup final will be held in Cluj. The students had a good run last year in the cup when they reached the semi-finals.
 
Before the start of the season, Universitatea is doing well in the transfer market; signing no less than 5 players, including the former captain of Poli Agro Iasi, Nicu Ignea, and Belfekih Wejdi, an exciting prospect that's already played for the Tunisian Youth National team.
 
With these new players and good preparation in the preseason, Universitatea can form a competitive team that can fight for a high spot in the league and make a deep run in the Cup.
