Universitatea Cluj won three very important points in Tărgu-Jiu as they beat Pandurii by a score of 1-0 thanks to Viveiros' goal. Veselovsky saved a penalty when the score was still 0-0.
"We won a very important game; one that we worked very hard for. I knew what we wanted and I did what we know best. Our objective is very difficult. We won three points which gives us some hope and lets us dream. I hope that things will continue to go well. I asked the players to respect themselves and their work," manager Adrian Falub commented for Dolce Sport following the match.
