Cristinel Pojar, Universitatea Cluj's former great player, accepted to have the friendly match between "U" and Kuban Krasnodar, which will open the new "Dr. Mircea Luca" stadium, serve as his retirement match from the black and white uniform.
He told the club's management that he was honored by ucluj.ro's idea and that he would wear the "U" jersey for one last time.
Pojar played for our team during his entire career, turning down the various offers that he had, from both Romania and abroad. He played in approximately 200 matches in the first league.
