The A and B junior teams of Universitatea Cluj played over the weekend with the similar teand from FC Zalau, winning easily by 5-0 and 3-1.

The A team, coached by Gheorghe Barbu, decided the match from the first half, the half-time whistle pausing the game at 3-0 for "U" Cluj. The scorers from the first 45 minutes were Calcan (15th), Ursu (20th) and Horvat (45th). The "Red Caps" technician started the match with Ticrea – Man, Cordos, M. Muresan, Kovacs, Calcan, Ursu, Horvat, C. Muresan, Baciu, Zamfir. After coming back from the locker rooms, "U" Cluj continued to march on, Ursu scoring his second in the 46th minutes. Lucian Baciu closed the scoreboard at 5-0 in the 85th.

The B team started the match a little slower, being down 1-0. Niczuly – Inovan, Dulap, Crisan, Holobutiu, Candea, Keresztes, Gavaller, Greu, Zdroba, Hampea.Until half time the Cluj players took the lead, Dulap and Hampea scoring for 2-1 for "U". Dan Zdroba made the scorers list in the seconds half, Universitatea Cluj winning in the end by 3-1.
