"U" Cluj women's volleyball team lost in Divizia A1' second round, 2-3, the game against Argeş Volei Piteşti. the score by sets was 25-22; 12-25; 13-25; 25-23; 8-15.

Altough they played on the road, Universitatea's players won the first set, 25-22. In the second set, a misunderstading at the officials' table, caused by a mismatch between the score displayed on the scoreboard and the score on the official sheet , the match was interrupted for about 20 minutes. The Pitesti team won this set and the next, but our players managed to equalize, 2-2. The home team proved to be stronger and won the tiebreaker and the match.

Our team's tactics was changed, trying to make up for the absence of outside hitter Alexandra Ariton, injured in the previous match. Following this game, our team got 1 point, for a total of 2 in the standings.

Divizia A1 women's volleyball regular season will take a break, because of an action of the National Team. The season will resume on November 19.
