In the first stage of the Division A playoffs for Men's Volleyball, Universitatea Cluj lost both their games against Arcada Galați 0-3 (17-25, 16-25, 18-25), and 1-3 (26-24, 22-25, 21-25, 20-25).
Following this result, "U" Cluj will face CSM Agronomia Bucharest. The series will be a best of 5 with the first 2 games in Cluj (on the 22nd and 23rd of March) while the 3rd and 4th games will be in Bucharest (on the 2nd and 3rd of April) with the last game in Cluj (on April 6th).
