Universitatea’s rugby team played today on home ground against Farul Constanţa, in the second stage of the CEC Bank Superleague. The sailors defeated us after a very disputed match, score 25-29, 12-19 at half time.

The players for our team were: Boar, Sălăgean, Petucher, Rus Nicolae, Ionescu, Martac, Ciocea, Curcã, Eduard Ciaparii, Uţiu, Teodorescu, Sãuan, Spataru, Sergiu Pop, Mazare.
For “U” scored Teodorescu, Curcã and Boar an essay each, while Uţiu made 2 transformations and 2 penalties.
After this, our team obtained a defensive point and it’s on the 6th place in the championship.
On next stage, Saturday, April 26, the boys from Cluj are going to play away against Politehnica Iaşi.
