Universitatea Cluj's rugby team lost at home against Știința Baia Mare by a score of 3-33.

Coach Bogdan Cantor's starting 15 was: Romulus Boar, Nicu Manolachi, Mihai Sabota, Nicolae Rus, Andrei Diaconu, Cristian Murgoci (c), Ionuţ Simoon, Claudiu Cruca, Leimoni Moala, Ionuţ Dimofte, Mihai Cozma, Andrei Nistor, Andrei Mazăre, Van Wyk Mc Grath and Ionuţ Mazăre.

"U" started the game out down by 5 as the away side scored their first try in the 5th minute.

The boys responded well as Ionuț Dimofte managed to score a penalty kick right after Baia Mare scored. Unfortunately, they were the only 3 points "U" scored in the first half as Baia Mare built a 3-11 lead going into halftime. 

The away side dominated the second half as they went on to win the game 3-33. Bogdan Sălăgean scored the try of honor as "U" left the field after game to the applause of the hundreds of fans at the game.

After Cristian Murgoci won man of the match last week, Csaba Gal (from Baia Mare) won man of the match this game.

Next round, "U" will face Steaua Bucharest in Babeș Parc when fans will get the chance to see former player Sergiu Buzea.
