"U" made it to the Cup Quarterfinals

Universitatea Cluj's women's handball team advanced to the Quarterfinals of the Romanian Cup after winning their match against Stiința București on Wednesday by a score of 33-21.
"U"'s win was well deserved as the "students" led from start to finish and the team's manager, Carmen Amariei, used every player on the roster.
Universitatea's goalscorers were: Florina Chintoan and Laura Popa with 7 goals each, Magda Paraschiv with 5 goals, Roxana Cîrjan with 4 goals, Cristina Laslo with 3 goals, Corina Biriş, Cristina Boian, and Raluca Petruş with 2 goals each, and Andreea Tetean with 1 goal.
