The women's handball team has missed out on qualification

On Sunday, Universitatea Cluj's women's handball team faced WHC Radnicki Kragujevac in Serbia in the second leg of the EHF Cup and lost by a score of 19-24.
In the first leg, "U" picked up a 29-29 draw at home, but the tie was ultimately decided in the second leg in Serbia.
Universitatea's goalscorers were Mihaela Ani-Senocico with 5 goals, Laura Popa with 4 goals, Corina Biriş and Florina Chintoan with 3 goals each, and Magda Paraschiv and Andreea Tetean with 2 goals each.
The team is off until January 11th when they will face HCM Roman in the first match of the second half of the season.
