The girls from “U” Jolidon handball team won the away game, in the Giulesti Sport’s Hall, against CSM Bucuresti, score 28-31, at half-time the score being 14-15.
With goalkeeper Petroczi having a gracious day with 14 parryes including denying 5 throws from the 7 meters spot, the girls made a step towards to ocupping a spot on the podium.
The girls who scored for us were: Tivadar 7, Chintoan 5, Paraschiv 5, Oltean 4, Senocico 4, Vadineanu 4, Dinca 2 goals. The girls who scored for the hosts were: Dobrin 4, Chitulescu 4, Avadanii 4, Paval 3, Geana 3, Cruceanu 3, Anghelina 2, Popa 2, Niculae 2, Strat 1.
The hosting team had 2 minutes of elimination time while our team had 6 minutes.
Coach Gheorghe Covaciu’s girls will play home against Corona Brasov in the next round, on the 9th of March, at 17:30. The prettyest things on Earth, women, will have free entrance at the game.
