"Martisor" wasn't a winning day

Our handball team lost yesterday at home against Fehervar KC by a score of 21-28 in the first leg of the EHF Cup Quarter Finals. "U" Jolidon is the only Romanian team left in a European Cup this season.

 
The game started with a goal from "U", but the team from Hungary gained the lead quickly due to their speed and a great game from their goalkeeper, who managed to make several saves from 7 meters out.
 
Towards the end of the first half, the students were pressed onwards by the "8th man", the fans who sang throughout the match, to reduce the 9 goal deficit to a 4 goal deficit at the half (10-14 at the half for Fehervar KC).
 
"U" Jolidon's scorers were Mihaela Ani Senocico, Florina Chintoan and Laura Popa with 4 goals each, Andreea Tetean with 3, Simona Vintilă and Raluca Mihai with 2 each, and Magdalena Paraschiv and Stefania Florea with 1 each.
 
"U"'s football team was at the game and gave flowers to the players after the game.
