"U" Jolidon won their game yesterday against Zalău by a score of 26-25. Even though Zalău managed to take a 4 goal lead at the half, Ana Maria Măzăreanu kept "U" in the game as she managed to save 4 penalties out of Zalău's 7 attempts as well as several set pieces and counterattacks.
After they managed to tie the game, our girls took and held a lead that lasted throughout the rest of the game. As a result, "U" went on to beat Zalău for the fourth time this season. The 25 fans who made the trip to Zalău the win that much better as they cheered the girls on throughout the game.
"U"'s top scorer was Simona Vintilă with 8 goals, followed by Florina Chintoan with 7, Magda Paraschiv with 5, Mihaela Ani-Senocico with 3, Andreea Tetea with 2, and Raluca Mihai with 1.
