Amariei named the women's handball team's new manager

The beginning of winter marked a time of change for the women's handball team. Not only has Mihaela Ani Senocico announced that she will leave the team, but the team's manager (and Mihaela's husband) Ioan Ani Senocico has announced that he will leave as well after picking up only 2 wins in 13 matches.
The team's new manager, as of December 5th, is Carmen Amariei, who formerly played for the national team and learned to play at Universitatea. She has played for many teams throughout her playing career including Oltchim, Besancon (in France), Randers (in Denmark), Slagelse (with which she won two titles in Denmark), Rulmentul Brașov, FHK Handbold (in Denmark), Hypo Viena (in Austria) and Viborg (in Denmark).
"U" Alexandrion is the second team that Carmen will have managed in her career after she made her managerial debut with SCM Craiova.
