Universitatea Cluj's women's handball team faced HCM Rămnicu Vălcea at home in the 15 round of the women's handball National League and came away victorious as they won the match 29-27.
The students played a good game as they had the lead for the entire match. The team was ecstatic after the final whistle as they had gotten their 3rd win this season. Carmen Amariei's players are still in 13th on the table with a total of 11 points.
"U"'s top scorer was Cristina Laslo with 11 goals, followed by Florina Chintoan with 7 goals, Andreea Tetean with 4 goals, Magda Paraschiv and Laura Popa with 2 goals each, and Abigail Vălean, Irina Ivan and Roxana Cîrjan with 1 goal each.
